The story

With no senior women's international matches played in the last 24 hours, attention turns to the upcoming Victoria Series, for which Uganda's Victoria Pearls have announced their 14-player squad. The tournament, scheduled from November 6 to 14 at the Entebbe Cricket Oval, will see Uganda compete against Rwanda, Namibia, and the USA.

A notable inclusion in the squad is Australian-based batter Kampi Nainhabo, who is in line to make her international debut. Nainhabo, a 23-year-old right-handed batter, has progressed through the Victorian domestic cricket pathway in Australia. Janet Mbabazi will continue to lead the side as captain. The series will also serve as preparation for Uganda ahead of the 2027 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier finals, where they will defend their title.
