The story

India Women secured a resounding 3-0 clean sweep over Zimbabwe Women, clinching the final One-Day International in Vadodara by eight wickets. Zimbabwe, batting first, were bowled out for just 131 runs in 39.5 overs, largely due to a stellar performance from young left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma, who claimed a maiden five-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 5/39. Josephine Nkomo (35) and Modester Mupachikwa (37) were the top scorers for Zimbabwe.

Chasing a modest target of 132, India made light work of the chase, reaching 133/2 in just 17 overs. Pratika Rawal continued her impressive form, remaining unbeaten on 59 runs off 56 balls, while Shafali Verma provided an explosive finish with an unbeaten 51 off just 26 deliveries, including a six to seal the victory. Pratika Rawal was subsequently named Player of the Series for her consistent batting performances.
