India Women eye series victory against Zimbabwe in second T20I today
The hosts aim to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series at Raipur.
The story
With no international women's cricket matches concluding in the last 24 hours, attention turns to Raipur where India Women are set to face Zimbabwe Women in the second T20I of their three-match series today. India currently holds a 1-0 lead after securing a four-wicket victory in the opening fixture on October 16.
Today's match presents an opportunity for the Indian side, captained by Smriti Mandhana, to seal the series. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back and keep the series alive. The teams will be keen to adapt to the conditions at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, which previously saw a competitive total posted by Zimbabwe.
