West Indies Women complete T20I clean sweep against Zimbabwe, Stafanie Taylor shines with bat and ball
The eight-wicket victory in the final T20I secured a 3-0 series win for the West Indies, adding to their 2-1 ODI series triumph.
The story
The West Indies Women concluded their tour of Zimbabwe on a high note, sealing a dominant eight-wicket victory in the third and final T20I at the Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare. Zimbabwe, after winning the toss and electing to bat, posted 142/6, largely thanks to Kelis Ndhlovu's 63 runs.
However, Stafanie Taylor was the pick of the West Indies bowlers, taking 2/8 from her four overs. In response, the West Indies comfortably chased down the target, reaching 143/2 in just 17 overs.
Veteran all-rounder Stafanie Taylor once again led the charge, remaining unbeaten on 64 runs from 39 balls, including 11 fours, to guide her team to a comprehensive win. This result ensured a 3-0 clean sweep in the T20I series for the West Indies, following their 2-1 victory in the preceding ODI series.
