Her innings, featuring 26 fours and 2 sixes, propelled the West Indies to a formidable total of 299/6 after electing to bat first. Matthews anchored the innings, sharing a 128-run second-wicket partnership with Realeanna Grimmond, who contributed 53 runs off 70 balls.
