India Aims for T20I Series Win as New Zealand Bats First in Crucial Third Match
Leading the series 2-0, India seeks to seal the five-match T20I series, while New Zealand fights to stay alive.
The story
At Hnry Stadium in Wellington, India's captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss in the third T20I against New Zealand and elected to bowl first. India, playing an unchanged side, made an early breakthrough when Arshdeep Singh dismissed Black Caps opener Tim Seifert.
However, Finn Allen and Daryl Mitchell have since mounted a strong counter-attack, building a partnership and keeping the scoreboard ticking with aggressive batting. New Zealand, needing a victory to prevent India from taking an unassailable 3-0 lead, will be looking for a substantial total. India previously secured four-wicket wins in the first two matches of the series held in Christchurch.
