The story

England completed a commanding 3-0 T20 International series sweep against Sri Lanka on Saturday, securing an eight-wicket victory in the third and final match at Emirates Old Trafford. Chasing a modest target of 125, England reached 126/2 with 62 balls to spare.

Jos Buttler led the charge with an unbeaten 62 runs from 32 deliveries, while captain Harry Brook contributed 33 before being run out. Brook was also named player of the series for his consistent performances.

Earlier, Sri Lanka struggled to build momentum, collapsing to 124 all out in 18.5 overs, with Will Jacks, Jofra Archer, and Sonny Baker each taking two wickets. This series win propelled England to the top of the ICC Men's T20I team rankings, dislodging India.
