The story

At The Rose Bowl in Southampton, England delivered a commanding performance in the fifth and final T20I on July 11, securing a 56-run victory over India and completing a 4-0 series sweep. Opting to bowl first, India faced an onslaught from England's batters, who posted a formidable 257/3 in their 20 overs.

Jos Buttler was the architect of England's innings, smashing a scintillating 131 runs off 64 balls, including 12 fours and eight sixes. He was ably supported by Harry Brook, who remained unbeaten on 95 off 45 deliveries, featuring four fours and eight sixes.

The duo forged an explosive 233-run partnership for the second wicket. In response, India's chase faltered despite half-centuries from Ishan Kishan (56) and Tilak Varma (53). Sam Curran was the pick of England's bowlers, claiming 3/36, as India was restricted to 201/8, marking their first-ever 4-0 bilateral T20I series loss.
