The week

Anthropic clarified access for Claude Fable 5 this week, setting a permanent access policy effective July 20, 2026. This policy outlines availability and costs for subscribers and API users; Max & Team Premium subscribers now have permanent access within usage limits, while other tiers received a one-time usage credit.

This follows Fable 5's global redeployment and integration into GitHub Copilot. Meanwhile, new agentic capabilities are emerging across the ecosystem: Supreme Liquid Labs launched Neverbell on July 21, 2026, an open-source skill that allows AI agents to directly access financial markets for tasks like monitoring positions and executing trades through natural language, supporting frameworks such as Claude Code.

Siemens expanded its partnership with NVIDIA on July 27, 2026, to deliver self-verifying agentic AI workflows for semiconductor and PCB design via its Fuse EDA AI Agent system. Also on July 27, Lianlian DigiTech and UnionPay International announced a collaboration to develop AI-agent payment applications for cross-border procurement.
